CHRISTMAS CHEER

I used to be one of those Debby-downers who would get hissy when Christmas music was played before Thanksgiving.  Thankfully, I repented of that attitude and I allow myself to get pumped for Christmas as early as I want to!

This year is extra exciting because I have so many loved ones who are getting married around this time of year, so there is much more to celebrate!

I am so in love with this holiday and this season.  Christmas is what makes winter worth it, and I love that this is one holiday that we celebrate for a month at a time - not just for a single day.  I work at a children's clothing store and we began playing non-stop Christmas music the day after Thanksgiving. Just last night I had a woman ask me,  "How does this not drive you crazy?!"  While I may not be a fan of all the *interesting* renditions they choose to play in the store, I could never get tired of Christmas music.  In fact, I use Christmas music as my pick-me-up year round if I ever am feeling down.

My sister Abby is in Women's Chorus at BYU and had a beautiful Christmas choir concert the past two nights.  One of the choirs sang the Wexford Carol, and then Abby found this video on Youtube that illustrates it beautifully.

Merry Christmas-month! May it be the best year yet.
